I used to think these people were dorks. Now I am one of them...

****Song mood for the moment is: "Love in Motion" by Yonekura Chihiro.****

Well, as per the title, just 2 months ago, a friend of mine introduced me to a horrible addictive website. I had no idea what it was about, even though people would ask me, "Are you on Neopets?" And I'd say, "What's that?" And they would just tell me to find out and gave me the url. I never went, because I figured it was just a silly thing anyway. Then, that friend called me, and asked me to sign up, because it gave her stuff on the website. And, she's one of those really nice people you just can't say no to. So, I go, and I sign up, and she tells me I actually have to play for her to get the thing. (A fairy paintbrush, I think) So over the phone, she walks me through the creation process, and suddenly, I have this pet that looks like an alien cat that I named Tana Chael. (A lot of names are taken. Even ones I thought I made up!) Then, she has to go to work, and she leaves me alone with this pet and this website. After an hour or so of floundering around, I suddenly found myself hooked. It's strange, it's not Pokemon-like at all, like I had envisioned, but more like animal crossing and Tamagotchis mixed together. The nicest thing about it, is that you can put your pet in a hotel, and you don't have to worry about feeding it for a month. You really don't need to play with them, but you can, (they have toys) and groom them too. There are many different places you can go, things to do, a regular way to earn the money (called NP or Neopoints) by playing games, and just tons of weird stuff. As you can tell, I'm hooked. Not as hooked as my friend, who has a plushie of a scorchio she bought at the mall.
If you wanna sign up, do it from here because I can earn stuff too! ^_^
Just click the orange button and sign up.
In other news, I am just biding my time until the Tokyopop contest is over. I'm getting impatient! Grrr.... >_< Waiting is so frustrating!!!!!! *shakes fist* Grrr... However, I got a free graphics tablet. My future mother in law ordered one, and couldn't get it to work on her computer. So she gave it to me, and it works on my computer, so, yay! ^^ It's hard to use though. So I practiced with it last night, but nothing good came of it. I'll get the hang of it eventually, but I'm so used to using my mousie, that it's hard to switch. Poor mousie...;_; When I finally get something good, I'll post it or something. However, I'm out of things to say, so I'm going to go now. Ja desu~!
